Ending of Final Four

All the final four festivities continued today as we had our annual Gonzo Relay. Gonzo Relay is what most of our campers look forward to at camp. Gonzo is a huge relay race that involves each and every camper to participate in their own task and run to the next member of their team. It’s so entertaining to see the youngest girl of camp have to get lifted to kiss the camp Moose and then tag the oldest camper to go swim out to the trampoline and jump and tag the next teammate. Excitement and cheers filled the camp for an entire hour and a half straight.  In the end the first place team was Brown followed by UCSB, Yale and then Vanderbilt.

Final four wrapped up with closing ceremonies and the entire camp awaits to here the place their team got tomorrow morning. This evening we hosted a social with the boys from Camp Timberlane. The girls and boys spent the night dancing and enjoying delicious homemade brownies. The last song “Don’t Stop Believing” had every camper dancing and singing.

Tomorrow is another lazy Sunday but once the bell rings at 10:30 we are going to have the campers busy and ready to seize another great day at camp. With very few activity days left we are going to have campers sign up for all new activities that we’re going to kickoff Monday!

As another day comes to an end we all remind each other how special and limited are days left are. Can’t wait to begin another great day at camp tomorrow!

Smile on,

Megan, Nagel, and Brittany
