Lazy Breakfast
Over 450 generously sized, made to order pancakes, were served up this morning for lazy breakfast. Campers came to the loge in their pajamas, enjoyed a movie and homemade pancakes. By lunchtime, everyone was signed up for another round of activities and enjoyed a relaxing morning on the waterfront.
It was a safari type day for our senior and oldest intermediate campers who tubed the Wisconsin River. Cabin 15 had a fun afternoon bowling and then a surprise stop for ice cream. Our CIT's returned safely from their Boundary Water canoe trip around 3 pm and were eagerly greeted by their younger fans. We are thrilled to have them back safe and sound.
Final Four teams were announced at dinner with a marshmallow reveal and captains were selected. We ended our day surrounded by a roaring campfire singing our favorite camp songs. I enjoy our campfires so much because it's the one evening program where I can see campers and staff visually relaxing. As we approach the week ahead, I look forward to more Blue and White events, casino night, a social, relay for life and much more. Time sure does fly when you're having fun.
Goodnight, Mary
