We're off to a great start

We can tell by all the Agawak smiles around camp that this summer is starting off just right!  After a breakfast of eggs, bacon and bagels we jumped right into regular activities with campers running all over the fields, tennis courts, arts and crafts buildings & paths throughout camp. Camp was a beehive of activity today with campers taking tip tests in sailing and hitting bulls-eyes down at the archery range. Our fishing class took the pontoon to the other side of Blue Lake and reeled in some nice size fish. Campers made homemade blueberry pancakes over the open fire in outdoor cooking and many campers successfully climbed their way to the top of our 55 foot Tango Tower. Our first tepee trip will go out tomorrow evening with Margie and s'mores are being packed while I type.

Our busy and active days under the bright sun quickly turn into fun and exciting evening programs under the clear nighttime sky. Tonight we celebrated Casino night in Happy Camper Hall. Campers enjoyed yummy snacks and casino-type games as they tried to earn Agawak Dollars for their cabin which will be cashed in for prizes at the end of first session.

I am BEYOND thrilled with the caliber of our staff this summer. Our energy and camp spirit is soaring HIGH. We’re "all in" for an amazing summer ahead.
