A Day in the Life of an Agawak Girl

A day in the life of an Agawak girl is filled with fun, enriching and challenging activities.  We create a balanced schedule that promotes a wide variety of activities.

A typical day at Camp Agawak goes like this:

8:00 am: Wake up (Morning Bell)
8:15 am:  Flag Pole
8:30 am: Breakfast
9:15 am: Cabin clean up and inspection
10:00 am: Activity Period
11:00 am: Activity Period
12:00 pm: Activity Period
1:00 pm: Lunch
2:00 pm: Rest
3:00 pm: Activity Period
4:00 pm: Activity Period
5:00 pm: Activity Period
6:00 pm: Flag pole and dinner
7:00 pm: Free Period
7:30 pm: Fun-filled Evening Program
9:00 pm: Back to Cabins for lights out

Activity periods are organized and well supervised, such as archery, rock climbing, arts and crafts, candle making and an array of fun water activities.  During these activities campers will be learning new skills and honing developed ones and challenging themselves.  Campers are able to choose their own daily activities based on personal interests.

Each morning and evening we assemble at the Flag Pole to gather as a group, start off, and recap our day of fun filled activities.

During the rest and free period, Agawak girls are encouraged to read, relax with friends, play trampball and write home (Yes, write, not text) or dip in Blue Lake.

Our Evening Programs are well planned, ridiculously fun and entertaining.  Evening Programs allow campers the chance to bond with their age group and build lasting memories.  Our evening programs are often the highlight of the day.  From Halloween to Midnight Movie to Blue and White lip sync, to Casino Night to an all night treasure hunt, the insane fun just doesn’t stop at Agawak.
