Sunny Days

Good Morning, Campers!  MP again, filling you in on another wonderful Agawak day.

Let’s see…probably the best way to describe the Friday we just had is…PERFECT!!!  So perfect that I drifted off to sleep without posting Fridays blog until this morning.  Sorry…

First off, there is nothing like sleeping in a crisp cool Wisconsin night.  We had rain Thursday, which forced us to change plans from activities, but as Suzi and I always say, everything is meant to be.  The rain allowed the CIT’s to get a jump on lip sync practice, and after Tuesday nights big Midnight Movie, and the 4th coming up, and the weather forecast for the next week being nothing but sun, sometimes Mother Nature just tells us to slow down.  When she does, we listen.

So after a perfect night to sleep, we jumped right back into a full day of activities.  Down at the ski docks, everyone has gotten their ski legs back, so we had so many girls getting back up on one ski, or dropping a ski.  Just picking up where they left off last year.  The first day or 2 all the girls were so excited to be back that we had a ton of girls double skiing on 2 skis.  Also, our beginning skiers have mostly graduated from the boom, our tool to help beginners learn to ski, and are trying to get up on the rope.  As always, I was amazed at the success rate!  Blue Lake cooperated by not being too windy!  Thanks again Mother Nature!

We ended our day with a ton of Ducky pizza being eaten, and an Agawak style Luau, with music provided by non other than Monster Entertainment!  The camp was rockin’!  Don’t get me wrong, I love our socials with the boy’s camp, but there ain’t no party like an Agawak party, ‘cause an Agawak party don’t………STOP!!!!!

Nighttime brought another cool evening.  Perfect sleeping weather.

Yes, Friday was one of those almost exactly perfect days that just puts a smile on your face as you drift off to sleep.

Can’t wait to see what today brings!
