Rookie Camp Information

2025 ROOKIE CAMPS 

Are you interested in seeing what a summer overnight camp is all about, yet not quite ready for an extended stay? Then join us for one of two Agawak Rookie Camp sessions! We know that making the step to committing time to a summer overnight camp can be daunting, especially if it's your child's fist experience.  That's why we created a program that still has Camp Agawak's traditional summer overnight camp feel, but catered for the first-time camper.

Rookie I is for campers who have just completed first, second or third grade.  Rookie II will be a full two week session for those wanting more. Rookie II is available for campers who have completed grades one through six. Rookie campers will have the unique opportunity to get a taste of what a traditional girls overnight summer camp has to offer. First time campers will spend 4 days and 4 nights or two weeks living the life of a true Agawak overnight camper. If space is available there will be an option to stay for any Rookie II who can’t bear to leave. Campers may attend Rookie 1 their first summer and Rookie 2 their second but are limited to only one summer in Rookie 2. Once a camper has attended a regular season session, they are not eligible for either Rookie program.

Agawak Rookies will ride up to camp with our regular season campers.  Rookie 1's must be picked up at camp on their last day.  Rookie II campers do have bus transportation home.
