Blue & White Spirit Never Dies!
The Blue White games of Camp Agawak are a centerpiece of our rich history, and our long-running sisterhood. At the start of the season, first time campers become members of either the Blue (FIKEY IKUS) or White Team (UH-UNGOWA) and remain on their team for the rest of their camper days. A deep and lasting bond develops between teammates of all ages. While most camps have what is called “Color Wars” for a week each summer, our Blue-White program is woven throughout our entire summer. Two or three times weekly teams participate in creative, cerebral and athletic events including traditional team games such as Capture the Flag and Tug of War to an all-night Treasure Hunt, to a silent Spelling Bee, to Cupcake Wars. Our century old Blue-White tradition, so beloved, not only instills valuable athletic and thinking skills, our campers learn essential life skills, from tenacity to sportsmanship, to leadership to teamwork all while having FUN and cheering their hearts out.
