‘OFFMER PREP AND FUN WINTER SCENES FROM CAMP
White snowy drifts cover the grounds and Blue Lake hibernates beneath it’s frozen surface. While much of the summer equipment and activities are packed away awaiting your return there is still a bustle about camp. The buzz of a large electric heater can be faintly heard as snowflakes fall outside the windows of upper Alumnae Hall. After finishing the prep work in the lodge the boys are now busy inside upper Alumnae staining each individual piece of what will become the new lodge floor. Thousands of square feet of lodge means MANY MANY hours of staining installing finishing and coating the new floor. But when they’re done it will be beautiful! (not to mention stable and sturdy for decades to come). Chris Mary and Amy are keeping busy in the office answering phones & emails prepping for summer and planning planning planning! Suzi and MP are working diligently from Idaho while Emily and others are going over the details for programs staffing and more from all across the country! Many people wonder what we do in the ‘offerely a time when we’re all apart and anxiously awaiting the rest of our ‘family’ to return to the Northwoods! Until then here’s your summer home as a Winter Wonderland…

ALL SMILES AT THE CALIFORNIA REUNION!
It was so great to get a big dose of Vitamin D and some camp hugs this weekend while I was in California! On Saturday I attended the Westridge School for Girls Summer Opportunities Fair for the second year in a row. It is always fun to join other camps and summer programs and spread the word to families in California about our amazing camp. I love when everyone walks by the both and looks at our display and says “WOWan asked if The Parent Trap was filmed there! I also love finding out the connections that people have to Wisconsiny husband grew up outside of Madison…I went to school in Madison…” It truly is a small world. On Sunday I had the pleasure of spending a couple hours at the home of Lila and Annabelle Mass for our California reunion. The sun was shining both outside and inside as we met our new California campersass ran to the computer and shouted outore days!” So fun to see Lila and Annabelle as well as Lindsey Bellowe and Annabelle Nickoll! Thanks for helping me welcome Zoe Ruby and Ginger and sharing your love of Agawak with them. Thank you again to the Mass family for opening up your home and welcoming us allwe always have a good time together. I can’t wait to hug all of these girls as they step off the bus on June 24!
