Hi campers, my name is Bethany (or Beth) and I am 18 from Adelaide, Australia. This summer is my first ever at Camp Agawak- to say I'm excited would be an understatement!! Having just finished my final year of high school, I am taking a year off to travel and work at camp- I cannot wait to meet you all. My passions are for anything active (especially yoga) or outdoors, and also for the environment- next year I will be studying Environmental Science and it is my dream to help save our beautiful planet from climate change. See you all soon for the best summer ever! :)
I attended UW-Platteville and have been teaching Phy Ed and Health and coaching for 27 years at North Lakeland Elem School in Manitowish Waters. Love the outdoors and a very avid fisherman and hunter. I enjoy sports very much. What used to be football, hockey, and Track and Field has turned into X-C skiing, golf, ping pong and swimming!! I love doing these things also. I spent four summers working for the DNR at Statehouse Lake during my college years---loved doing that sort of work. Other than that I enjoy working with kids and hope to make a bit of a positive difference in each child I teach or coach.
