What a day it is to be an Agawak girl! We sent our CIT’s to the Northwood’s Zippany our 9th graders experienced an afternoon water park in Wausau and our entire 8th grade clan went tubing down the Manitowish River on innere back to camp pumped up and excited about their time away from camp. A change of pace is always a good thing from time to time. We never want things getting mundane around here especially for our seniors who’ve been here for many many summers.
Our Intermediate and Junior campers spent the morning at camp enjoying board games brought to life. Some of the games they played included life size remakes of…Guess Who Jumbo Twister Foosball and lifeed to be a big hit! They spent the afternoon on the waterfront getting pontoon boat rides playing in the water swimming sliding down the new Agawak waterslide and getting blobbed by fellow cabin mates and friends. It was a beautiful summer day.
Tonight we will enjoy a cookout of barbeque chicken baked potatoes corn and watermelon. Our night will end nestled among good friends around a glowing campfire. Campfires consist of many traditions that we have continued to participate in over the years. It is a relaxing evening program that is definitely one of the favorites!
After a busy the campers are looking forward to Lazy Sunday! For those early risers there will be a movie playing in the lodge and Ducky of course is making his famous pancakes! At 10:30am the bell will ring for open activities. Tubing is by far the most popular! The weather is supposed to be BEAUTIFUL which makes it a perfect Sunday for the girls. Campers will also be signing up for their next round of activities. We have a fun jaming up for the 4th of July so we will be getting ready for that! Remember our office will be closed on Monday as the entire camp will be going into town! We will return all phone calls and emails on Tuesday!
We hope everyone has a great 4th of July weekend and enjoys their holiday! We know we will be having a blast! Be on the lookout for lots of pictures with smiling happy faces!
Full Speed Ahead
