The Action Continues

The past several days have gifted us with warm Wisconsin weather, setting the perfect backdrop for water activities and special programs. Activities were in full swing Tuesday.  Indoor cooking stirred up a delicious patch of chocolate drop cookies and healthy spring rolls. Seasoned climbers took to the high ropes course and a boat load of bass fish and crappies were caught. The daily heartbeat of Agawak life beats to the rhythm of shimmering Blue Lake. Whether it’s paddling in war canoes, mastering the art of sailing, getting up on water-skis, or simply swimming in the crystal clear lake water, every moment spent on Blue is a testament to the beauty of summer in northern Wisconsin.

The Olympic theme took center stage at last night's Blue and White cupcake wars. Both teams designed, created and decorated their own unique cupcake masterpieces. Everything from medals, to Eiffel Towers, to Olympic Rings appeared. Campers enjoyed a scrambled egg, bagel and bacon breakfast Wednesday before heading out to play a camp favorite.....TOP OF. It was then off to Kawaga for a carnival and waterfront social. Campers capped off their day with a massive Steal the Bacon game. Thursday is set for another round of activities. We're hoping to squeeze in a Color Run if time allows.

As we continue to embrace every moment of our summer here at Agawak, we look forward to the adventures, friendships, and growth opportunities that lie in the final week ahead. With Treasure Hunt, Closing Ceremonies, Project Runway, Agapalooza, awards night and much, much more to come....the action continues!
